Janine hall Photography is a partnership of two creative spirits, Janine Hall and Clare Kinchin who are first class wedding photographers. Both partners are specialists in wedding photography. Their wedding photography is competitively priced and they produce some extraordinarily beautiful wedding albums and wedding books. Weddings are such momentous and wonderful occasions; we feel privileged to work in an arena of such emotion and beauty!

We are photographers, artists and designers. These three elements combine to provide you with the ultimate experience in wedding photography.
We have about 22 years of experience between us (it's increasing all the time!) and this is our main business...we are specialists and this coupled with our ability to translate your ideas and our suggestions into easy going direction can make the most camera shy clients look as though they have just stepped out of a glossy magaine. We shoot in colour and any image can be translated into black and white.

We have been commissioned to cover events all over the planet, we are always happy to travel for our lovely clients... we do become involved with the family and friends and although it is often only for a short period (although many go on to use us for all their family events and to record their family as they grow up) the relationship we develop with our couples generates exactly the right trust and confidence for us to create images that will take your breath away!

Many events we attend are held in marquees in private homes and gardens. Our style is a mixture of reportage and creative direction fusing fluency in fashion and contempory wedding imagery. Our wedding photography packages at our cheapest end are around £795 they are very competitive with our peers. We give the best service and are so careful to look after our clients and their guests and ensure everyone has fun.We provide an option to have a disc of high resolution images with the rights to print from the images yourself.Photoshop skills are in our repertoire, we can enhance and airbrush to make you look fantastic.

Wedding Albums

Our aim is to provide you with an extraordinary record of your day...Our albums are created by a brilliant company based in Australia called Jorgensen. We use them because they enable us to create a unique design for each couple...we can incorporate some of the special elements that relate to the day such as the invitation, maybe the dress designers sketch or fabric swatches from the dress or bridesmaids dresses...confetti can be archived between transparent layers of acetate...we have even included sand from a couples favourite beach. We love Jorgensen because whatever we conceive in our album design...they can produce for us, we use only the most beautiful products that allow us utmost creative flexibility because each couple inspire us with new ideas that are bursting for life...(Oh and don't worry that they will take a long time because they are made in Australia......the delivery on albums is surprisingly quick!)

Wedding Books

Many people are familiar with producing digital books themselves...so you might think....why would you want to commission ours? The answer is because we are trained graphic designers...and we are fluent in the language of wedding! We don't use templates or other outside companies...we go through a design process to create a unique design for you...and we were there...so we know your wedding intimately! Amazing technology allows us to enhance our images (and by the way our photoshop skills are cutting edge ladies!)...this enables us to maximise our creative skills to create a story of the day that will take you on a beautiful journey to relive the emotions and excitement...the nerves and the passion...(well for all the bits we are there for anyway!)

OUR SERVICES

On the day

Covering the event, alone or with their own assistant...Clare or Janine as your Principle Photographer apply their skills and talent to record the days special moments, they will look after you beautifully as they will your family and friends, (as if they were their own). Not everyone wants something wildly different! Wherever possible your photographer will spend time with you prior to the big day to find out everything about the wedding and exactly what the you the Bride and Groom want from your photography....it is intensely personal and the more she knows about what inspires you the better she can reflect your style in the way that she works!

Next

The images are edited..so they are ready for you to view and order prints from...expect around 500/700 images from an average (What is that?) wedding with 2 photographers. We are currently providing the images 3/4 weeks after the wedding. The images are provided on disc and can also be posted on our website for viewing and ordering. This is the point at which we will ask for a selection of images to design with if there is an album or book to design.

Products and production

The design process is undertaken once we receive our clients choices...we need to maintain a steady workflow and we will ask you to provide us with your choices by a deadline...4 weeks is normal although longer is possible if requested at the outset. The design is then presented either online or in an ink jet copy format for approval and minor changes. Again we will ask for these to be provided promptly in order to maintain our business workflow. Once we have client approval of the design the final production takes place.

Where we work and how it works if we travel

We have been thrilled to cover weddings in the Greek islands, Rio de Janeiro, Singapore, South of France, South Africa, Nigeria as well as throughout the UK and Northern Ireland from the bottom of Cornwall up to Scotland. Wherever we are we always provide the most professional work possible and the highest degree of customer service. Flights, accommodation and travel costs are all covered by the customer...We usually agree a minimum fee to include Wedding albums or Wedding Books and possibly a day rate for travel depending on how far away we are travelling. Flights, accommodation and travel costs are all covered by the customer...at cost. There are no extra costs if we are working within 50 miles of our base in Cornwall or our new base in London....
